PluMesh is a desktop application for generating and editing FDS (Fire Dynamics Simulator) mesh configurations. It is designed for fire safety engineers, researchers, and simulation specialists who need precise, validated mesh setups without manual calculation.
Yes. PluMesh works by reading your existing FDS input file to extract the geometry, domain, and surface definitions. It then generates the mesh configuration and exports it back into the same file format.
The current release targets Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). Mac and Linux support is being evaluated for a future release. If you have a specific platform requirement, please contact us.
Commercial use requires a Professional or Commercial license. The free trial is for evaluation purposes only and may not be used on paid client work. See the license terms for full details.
PluMesh automatically distributes the generated mesh blocks across a configurable number of MPI processes using a load-balancing algorithm. You can set the number of processes, maximum deviation tolerance, and total mesh limit. A detailed report shows the cell count per process and load deviation after partitioning.
